General Settings
This section contains general plugin settings.
Preview Mode
Turn on this setting to enable the preview mode. In this mode, ads are shown only to users with administrator rights.
Rename Plugin Directory
Turn on this setting and deactivate the plugin to rename its directory. This can be useful for bypassing ad blockers such as AdBlock.
Post Types
Select post types to enable the ability to assign ads to specific posts.
Taxonomies
Select taxonomies to enable the ability to assign ads to specific taxonomy terms.
Post Types and Taxonomies
Enter post types and associated taxonomies to enable the ability to assign ads to posts assigned to specific taxonomy terms.
Limiting Query Results
Enter the maximum number of ads that can be received per request. This limitation applies only to Ajax requests and shortcodes.
Limiting Taxonomy Terms
Enter the maximum number of taxonomy terms that can be used to receive ads for posts. This will improve performance for posts assigned to many taxonomy terms.
Scripts
Turn on this setting to load plugin scripts.
Styles
Turn on this setting to load plugin styles.
Shortcode
Turn on this setting to enable the [adcontent]
shortcode.
Ajax
Turn on this setting to enable Ajax requests.
Ad Groups
Turn on this setting to enable ad groups (used to group ads in order to control their display).
Ad Formats
Turn on this setting to enable ad formats (used to group ads in order to control their display).
Page Types
Turn on this setting to enable the ability to assign ads to specific page types.
User Roles
Turn on this setting to enable the ability to configure the display of ads for users with specific roles.
Device Types
Turn on this setting to enable the ability to assign ads to specific device types.
Geolocation
Turn on this setting to enable the ability to assign ads to specific countries.
Placements
Turn on this setting to enable the module that allows you to place ads anywhere on the site.
Action Hooks
Turn on this setting to enable the module that allows you to place ads using WordPress Action Hooks.
Pop-ups
Turn on this setting to enable the module that allows you to display ads in pop-ups.
Process shortcodes
Turn on this setting to process shortcodes in ads. If you do not use shortcodes in ads, you can turn off this setting to improve performance.
Due to the nature of WordPress, shortcode processing is not available for ads loaded using Ajax.
Categories
Turn on this setting to enable categories (used to group ads in order to filter them in the admin area).
Tags
Turn on this setting to enable tags (used to group ads in order to filter them in the admin area).
Widget shortcodes
Turn on this setting to process shortcodes in text and HTML widgets. It will help if your shortcodes are displayed as plain text.
ACF Menu
Turn on this setting to display the ACF PRO menu in the admin area.
Remove Wrapper
Turn on this setting to remove the wrapper for ads (only for ads of type Code). This can be useful, for example, if you are going to add code to the <head>
element of a web page.
Remove All Data
Turn on this setting to delete all saved data for AdContent when the plugin is deleted.
MaxMind Geolocation Integration
This section contains the MaxMind geolocation settings and is only available when geolocation is enabled.
MaxMind License Key
Enter the license key that will be used when dealing with MaxMind Geolocation services. If you do not have a license key, you can get it for free here.
MaxMind Database File Path
This field displays the location where the MaxMind database should be stored. By default, the integration will automatically save the database in the wp-content/uploads/adcontent_uploads
directory.
License Settings
This section contains the license settings.
License Key
Enter your AdContent license key. If you do not have a key, you will not be able to receive automatic updates and support.
