General Information
Add Title
Enter the name of the ad. This field is used only in the admin area.
Shortcode
Use this shortcode to display the ad on the site directly by its ID. This shortcode will display the ad without taking into account its targeting settings. If you need to take into account the characteristics of pages and visitors, use the Code Generator to create a shortcode.
Ad Settings
Ad Type
Select an ad type. You can select the following types:
- Default.
- Image.
- Code.
The number of ad settings will depend on the selected ad type.
Priority
Enter the priority for the ad. It can be used to sort ads by priority.
Ad Group
Select the ad groups to which you want to assign the ad.
Ad Format
Select the ad formats to which you want to assign the ad.
Headline
Enter the headline of the ad. It supports HTML tags and shortcodes.
Content
Enter the main content of the ad. It supports HTML tags and shortcodes.
URL
Enter the destination URL for where AdContent will direct users when they click the ad.
Image
Select an image for the ad. You can select the image from the media library or upload a new one.
Advanced Settings
Select advanced ad settings. You can select the following options:
- Add nofollow to links.
- Open links in a new window.
- Make links via PHP redirect.
- Encrypt links (redirect only).
- Make links via JavaScript.
- Automatically add paragraphs.
Targeting Settings
Countries
Select the countries to which you want to assign the ad. You can enable or disable this field using the “Geolocation” setting in the plugin settings.
Device Types
Select the types of devices to which you want to assign the ad. You can enable or disable this field using the “Device Types” setting in the plugin settings.
Posts
Select the posts to which you want to assign the ad. You can configure post types or disable this field using the “Post types” setting in the plugin settings.
{Post type name} ({post type}) assigned to {Taxonomy name} ({taxonomy})
Select taxonomy terms to assign the ad to posts assigned to the selected taxonomy terms. You can enable or disable these fields using the “Post Types and Taxonomies” setting in the plugin settings.
{Taxonomy} ({taxonomy})
Select the taxonomy terms to which you want to assign the ad. You can enable or disable these fields using the “Taxonomies” setting in the plugin settings.
Page Types
Select the types of pages to which you want to assign the ad. You can enable or disable this field using the “Page Types” setting in the plugin settings.
Additional Settings
Expiration Date
Set the date and time when the ad will be disabled and moved to the trash. If you want to schedule the publication of the ad, you can do this using standard WordPress tools in the “Publish” metabox.
Categories / Tags
These taxonomies are used only for sorting ads in the admin area. You can enable or disable these taxonomies in the plugin settings using the “Categories” and “Tags” settings.
